Notes: From a West facing 0.5ha plot planted between 1964-72. Some of the grapes are destemmed, and some left in whole bunches, macerated together for 21 days, before ageing in 1000lt stoneware jars. This has some real depth and length, both from the maceration and the warm, sunny plot. Lovely bloody fruit and a lick of acidity to finish.

Vincent and Marie had worked in Beaujolais in the 1990s and were heavily influenced by the work of Jules Chauvet, Marcel Lapierre et al.
