Anton van Klopper is the man behind Lucy M. wines (he has had to drop the Margaux due to pressure from a famous chateau in France). Our first trip to the southern hemisphere took us to the Adelaide Hills which rise steeply from the beach to reveal orchards, cherry trees and vines.
This beautiful backdrop is perhaps the home of the Australian natural wine movement and Anton, some might say, is the ring leader. His numerous cuvées demonstrate the huge potential of the area as well Anton's talent to think outside the box and European traditions. He is master of assemblage and creates incredibly drinkable concoctions.
